About SuperGIS DataRectifier

SuperGIS DataRectifier allows you to rectify the vector and raster layer without the coordinate system through those with the geodetic coordinate system to create the corresponding coordinate system. Therefore, the rectified layer can be overlaid correctly with other layers by the coordinate system. To rectify layers, you need to add more than two layers. First of all, you have to choose to rectify vector layer or raster layer. Then, add the layer to the left part of the window—Source Layer. Meanwhile, you can select more than one vector or raster layer containing coordinate system and add the layer(s) to the right part of the window—Reference Layer to start data rectification.

Data rectification should be processed by adding geodetic control point (GCP). You have to add at least 4 GCPs on the layer you would like to rectify. Each GCP on the source layer has a corresponding GCP on the reference layer. In the reference layer area, you can add more than one layer,  manage the reference layer you add, and modify the symbols in the Layer Manager window.

SuperGIS DataRectifier is the application providing Data Rectification functions. Meanwhile, SuperGIS DataRectifier, SueprGIS DataManager, and SuperGIS DataConvertor are the accessory applications of SuperGIS Desktop series.

In this version, besides raster layers, vector layer rectification is also supported. Thus, SuperGIS DataRectifier can solve most of the data rectification problems. The supported formats include two vector formats, *.GEO and *.SHP, and seven rater formats, *.SGR, *.SID, *.ECW, *.LAN, *.JPG, *.BMP, and *.GeoTiff. The supported output formats are *.GEO, *.SHP, *.LAN, and *.JPG.
