Data Rectification

SuperGIS DataRectifier aims to rectify the offset image data caused by the shot angle or some special factors. Also, an image without coordinate system can be rectified to create a corresponding coordinate system so that the image layer can be overlaid with other layers. The rectified layers containing coordinate system can be overlaid with other layers; therefore, the image layer can reflect the real world more correctly. To rectify the layers, please add the corresponding Geodetic Control Pont (GCP) on the image, and the extent of the original image will be calculated and adjusted.

In SuperGIS DataRectifier, the design and manipulation of GCP is improved. The icon of GCP is a hollow cross with which you can set the GCP on the layer more accurately to generate the more accurate rectification.

GCP can be seen as the corresponding points of source layer and reference layer. In SuperGIS DataRectifier, you need to set more than 4 GCPs on source layer and reference layer respectively to process data rectification. The added GCPs should be even; that is to say, as you add one GCP on the source layer, you need to add the other corresponding GPC on reference layer. The two GCPs on the different layers will be numbered with the same ID.
