Stream Order
Stream Order Analyst gives different orders to streams based on their subordination relationships in order. Stream order means quite a lot for geomorphology, hydrology analysis or soil and water conservation business. The system adopts the Strahler ordering method.
Strahler:
1. The order of the source of the stream is 1.
2. a-order stream intersects b-order stream; if a > b, the order of the convergence stream will be a. If a=b, the order will be a+1.
Like Stream Link, Stream Order also takes to input Stream Raster and Flow Direction Raster for analysis. Please refer to Generate Stream Raster to produce Stream Raster and Flow Direction Raster.
