Network Analysis Elements
After the O-D Matrix is chosen, the four related network analysis elements (Stop points, End points, point barrier, line barrier and polygon barrier) will be revealed on Network Location Window in the left side. Now we are to introduce the network analysis elements and the parameters.

Start Points
It save the network position of the start point. This layer contains two different symbols: the located stop and unlocated stop. Users can change the color and style of the Stop layer in Layers in the right side, or set the related parameters on Network Location Window in the left side.
End Points
It saves the network positions of the end point. This layer contains two different symbols: the located stop and unlocated stop. Users can change the color and style of the Stop layer in Layers in the right side, or set the related parameters on Network Location Window in the left side.
Stop parameters
Parameter |
Description |
---|---|
Name |
The name of the stop. |
Position |
The coordinates of the stop. |
CurbApproach |
The possible direction of the vehicle when it arrives or leaves the stop. 1.0 represents no safety island in the middle of the road, so users can directly drive to the backward-way lane. 2.1 represents the position of stop is in the right side of the digitizing direction(if the digitizing direction is equal to the road direction, we can consider the stop is located in the sidewalk of the forward lane. ) 3.2 represents the position of stop is in the left side of the digitizing direction(if the digitizing direction is equal to the road direction, we can consider the stop is located in the sidewalk of the backward lane. ) |
Duration |
The time that the vehicle stays at a stop. |
Weight |
A stop of heavier weight has higher importance, and should be visited in prior. |
Start Time |
The beginning time that the vehicle is allowed to arrive. |
End Time |
The end time that the vehicle is allowed to arrive. |
Point Barrier, Line Barrier, Polygon Barrier
It stops or changes the accessibility of network data. This layer contains two different symbols: the located point barrier, unlocated point barrier, line barrier and polygon barrier. Users can change the color and style of the Barriers layer in Layers in the right side, or set the related parameters on Network Location Window in the left side.
Point Barrier parameters
Parameter |
Description |
---|---|
Name |
The name of point barrier. |
Position |
The coordinates of the point barrier. |
CurbApproach |
Represents the driving direction that will be influenced by the barrier. 1.0 represents the barrier will influence the accessibility of the vehicle on two-way road. 2.1 represents the barrier will influence the accessibility of the vehicle on the lane of digitizing direction(if the digitizing direction is identical to the road direction, we can consider the barrier will influence the accessibility of vehicle on the forward lane). 3.2 represents the barrier will influence the accessibility of the vehicle on the land of reverse digitizing direction(if the digitizing direction is identical to the road direction, we can consider the barrier will influence the accessibility of vehicle on the backward lane). |
Start Time |
The beginning time the barrier prohibits vehicle entrance . |
End Time |
The end time the barrier prohibits vehicle entrance . |
Line Barrier parameter
Parameter |
Description |
---|---|
Name |
The name of the line barrier. |
Polygon Barrier Parameter
Parameter |
Description |
Name |
The name of the polygon barrier. |
