Dirty Area and Topology

Dirty Area refers to the areas that have been edited, in which some geometric characteristics might violates the topology rules and need to be created, deleted or fixed. Dirty Area frames the areas that have been edited with a rectangle. Only the geometric characteristics within this rectangle frame will be validated based on the topology rules. The target to validate is therefore much clear, greatly enhancing the processing efficiency. The extent of Dirty Area will change continuously based on the topology fix. The locations with orange and brown marks are those which violate topology rules, that is “error.”
