Sorting Records

As the attribute table is opened, the attributes are listed in the order of the numbers of FID field. Then, you can use "Sort Ascending" or "Sort Descending" to change the order of the data in the field.

Take the table for example. It is the attribute table of a county layer. If you want the attribute list to be in ascending order, you can right-click the heading of NAME_1 and click "Sort Ascending / Sort Descending."

By sorting records, you can find specific records in a short time.
