Setting Symbols for Feature Layers

In SuperGIS Cube, the feature layers are added as either vector layers or tiled layers based on their Altitude Mode settings. The default altitude mode is Clamp To..., which adds the layers as tiled layers. Its benefits are that users can use all the symbols as in SuperGIS Desktop, and the performance will be better. If the altitude is Relative To... or Absolute, the layer will be added as vector layers. The benefits are that they can be extruded or designed as 3D symbols.

To design the layer symbol, right click on the layer name and select Properties. Switch to Symbol tab. Then follow the instructions in the following sections to design symbols.

The types of the layer symbol include the following types:

1.

Single Symbol: regards all the attributes of the layer as a classification and displays the data with a single symbol.

2.

Graduated Color: classifies the quantitative data and displays the attributes with graduated colors to present the quantitative data.

3.

Graduated Symbol: classifies the quantitative data and displays the attributes with different sizes of the points.

4.

Unique Values : displays the different attributes or attribute combinations of multiple fields with different symbols and colors.
