Popularity

Popularity sorts the number of cell values appearing in the same position from a set of input rasters and ranks them on an ordinal scale, that is, the most popular, the second most popular and so on; users need to set the Popularity Raster or Constant in setting dialog, it means the cell value that is the Nth most popular (defined by Popularity Raster or Constant) will be the output value. In situations as below the output value will be NoData:

1.Popularity Raster or Constant is specified as 0.

2.The specified Popularity Raster or Constant is greater than the number of input rasters.

3.The occurrence of the cell value is same with the sorting order.

4.If any one input cell has value NoData, that location will be assigned NoData on the output.

See the figure below:

1.The Popularity Raster is 1, it means the system will find the most popular value from the input rasters.

2.The value of the input cells in the upper left corner is respective 1(IR1), 1(IR2) and 3(IR3). The most popular cell value in this cell location is 1, so the output value in this cell location is 1.

3.If any one input cell has value NoData, that location will be assigned NoData on the output.
