Extract Values to Points
Extract Values to Points enables users to get raster information through the input of points. The data processed with "Extract Values to Points" will be output as point layer and the raster information will be saved as the attributes.
The attribute data of the output point layer records the existing attributes of the source input points; besides, the "EXTRACTVAL" field will be added to save the raster information that is extracted. The type of the EXTRACTVAL field will be determined by the input raster. For instance, if the input raster is floating point type, the field type will be Double.
Additionally, if the extract raster value is NoData, the minimum value of the type of the EXTRACTVAL field will be filled up. For instance, if we set the EXTRACTVAL field Short, -32768 will be filled up when the extracted raster value is NoData.
