Account Reset

 

 

If you accidentally forget the login account of the SuperGIS Server Manager, please follow the instructions below to reset your account.

 

1.Open the ProviderServer.config file. By default, it is under the path of: C:\Program Files\Supergeo\Server\bin\config or C:\Program Files (x86)\Supergeo\Server\bin\config

 

2.Find <add key="Admin" value="......." /> and delete its value. The value is an encoded string of your account log-in information. To reset  the account, it should be <add key="Admin" value="" />.

 

3.Open Computer Management.

 

4.Restart SuperGIS Server Container and Internet Information Service (IIS).

 

 

Repair your web applications after account reset

 

Please be noted that once you reset the account, all the web applications built before will be invalid. To repair your web applications, please follow the instructions below:

 

1.Open the ContainerClient.config file with text editor, such as notepad.  By default, it is under the path of: C:\Program Files\Supergeo\Server\bin\config or C:\Program Files (x86)\Supergeo\Server\bin\config.

 

2.Copy the string value in one of the <UserAndPass>.

 

3.Find the path of your web application. By default, it is under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ApplicationName.

 

4.Open the config.xml file with text editor, such as notepad.

 

5.Replace the string value in the <UserPassString> node with the one you find in the ContainerClient.config file.
