Managing and Setting SuperGIS Server

 

 

SuperGIS Server is the professional GIS server system,which allows to publish map service to client-end's use or navigation through internet service. Its strong capability of mapping and image compression enables users to quickly browse or query map. You can adjust or maintain the server settings to meed your needs to present the best map browsing effect for front-end users.  

 

SuperGIS Server provides a full-function webpage of tool program, SuperGIS Server Manager; it allows to create GIS website, publish service and manage server, and users can use it to publish GIS service, create GIS website, manage server account and Provider. SuperGIS Server Manager is a web application which takes regular web browser to operate;  with licensed account and password you can run SuperGIS Server through the web browser on different computers to connect to the remote server of SuperGIS Server to change settings or manage services.

 

In addition to publishing GIS service and creating website, managing server is an important task to SuperGIS Server Manager. SuperGIS Manager has the easy-to-use server setting interface, including Provider, Accounts, Mapping and Container, and users can log in server and set up the management settings through web browser.

 

Provider allows users to add and manage the SuperGIS Server service ability. SuperGIS Server service ability refers to the service type that the manager is able to publish, the default service type including Map, Address Locator and Directory Service. Accounts enables users to add or manage SuperGIS Server user account, including permission, valid account, expired date and user limitation. Mapping sets up the Map Cache folder and watermark that users can embed the visible or invisible watermark into SuperGIS Server service as required. Container manages and adds provider that SuperGIS Server set the local host of server as provider by default, or you can change to other machine to reduce the loading of server, which will enhance the process performance.
