Publishing GIS Service

 

 

SuperGIS Server is the professional Geographic Information System for server, which can publish various map services for client end to use or navigate through internet service. Its excellent capability of mapping and image compression in the back end enables users to quickly navigate and query map in the front end. To meet different needs, you can adjust or maintain the server settings on your own to present the best map effect to the front end users.  

 

SuperGIS Server provides a comprehensive web template tool application for GIS website creation, service publishing and server management -SuperGIS Server Manager- through which users can publish GIS service, create GIS website, manage server account and set the Provider.  SuperGIS Server Manager is a web application that users can use it through the regular web browser; you can run SuperGIS Server Manager with the licensed account and password on different computer through the web browser to link to the remote server of SuperGIS Server to change settings or manage service.

 

Publishing GIS service is the basic capability of SuperGIS Server, which is also the basic function to SuperGIS Server Manager. SuperGIS Server Manager allows you to publish Map Service, Feature Service, Map Cache Service, KML,WMS, WFS, WCS and WMTS. However, the way to publish KML,WMS, WFS, WCS and WMTS service is quite different from the way to publish regular map service.

 

GIS Service is a sort of web service and users are able to reach the service or navigate the map through diversified front-end applications that support. You can also embed the usable GIS Service into the web by SuperGIS Server Manager, so that other users are able to navigate the service through regular web browsers. What's more, you can on-line access the GIS Service by the front-end applications that support, such as SuperGIS Desktop or SuperPad.
