Installing and Setup for Server Side

After SuperGIS Server installation disc is inserted to CD Drive, the SuperGIS Server installation procedure should start automatically. If not, please double-click My Computer, click CD Drive, run Autorun.exe and the SuperGIS Server installation screen will be started. Click the first item of the right part of the installation screen, Install SuperGIS Server 3.3, to start to install server side object of SuperGIS Server 3.3.

Note: SuperGIS Server installation programs include the server main program－SuperGIS Server, desktop add-on－SuperGIS Server Desktop Client, related tool programs－Data Management Tools, documentations－Documents and other related objects－Redistributable. When you install SuperGIS Server objects, if you want to install different server objects to different computers in accordance with the role computer plays, please note that you should select Custom in the Setup Type page.

2.	Click Next when Welcome page shows up.

3.	In "License Agreement"page, please read the license agreement carefully and choose "I accept the terms of the license agreement."After that please click Next.

4.	"Setup Type"page appears. Choose Complete to install the complete program. If you only want to install one of the "SuperGIS Server" roles, please choose Custom and click Next.

In the "Setup Type"page, please check the item according to the role the computer plays. If the computer plays the role of Provider, please check "SuperGIS Server Provider" if it simply plays Container, please check "SuperGIS Server Container" if it plays both Provider and Container, please check both the two items mentioned above. Click Next.

6.	Proceed to the "Ready to install the program" page. If you are ready to install program, please click Install.

7.	The system starts setup.

8.	When "InstallShield Wizard Complete"page appears, the SuperGIS Server is successfully installed to your computer. But you must restart the computer and you can use the program. Click "Yes, I want to restart my computer now."

Note: In this chapter, we simply introduce how to install server side main objects of SuperGIS Server Provider and Container. As to the rest installation of other desktop client and maintenance program, please refer to the following sections.
