Measure

Users can define the unit of the measure tool. For area units, there are square feet, square yard, square miles, square meters and square kilometers. For length units, there are feet, yards, miles, meters and kilometers.

 

Turn "On" Measure.

 

 

And click on the "Measure" icon to select the unit. And the click "Apply".
