Split
Unlike separation setting in mapnote properties layer, when you apply the split tool, your mapnote will be separated to multiple mapnotes according to split settings. To split mapnotes, you have to select a mapnote and then click the split button and choose one split mode to separate mapnotes. The figure below shows results of different separation mode.

Split options
Your mapnotes will be split based on chosen delimiters. You can select one of delimiter or enter a customized symbol as the delimiter.
