Merge

You can merge different LiDAR files into a new one by Merge tool. The usage of this tool is somehow like the Merge function within Geoprocessing tool.

To merge LiDAR files into a new one by Merge tool, follow steps below:

1.Select a layer which is linked to the one displayed in TOC via the drop-down menu of Input LiDAR data. Or click the folder button and specify a layer in the local computer.

2.Click the+button to add each LiDAR file you specify in the Step 1. Repeating Step 1 and Step 2 here to add the specified LiDAR file one by one until you add all the files you need.

3.Click the drop-down menu of Merging files base on the select file to specify header of a selected LiDAR file and have the other file merge to the specified one. Due to that each LiDAR file has its own header information; that is to say that the files you intend to merge together might have different header data. Therefore, you need to accomplish Step 3 to correctly merge the files.

4.Once step 1, 2 and 3 are set, enter an output folder pathway in Output LiDAR data field, or click the folder icon to specify one in local computer.
