Extract

You can extract certain LiDAR data and save them as a single layer via setting spatial extent and data classifications in Extract dialog box. To do so, click Extract on the tool bar to open the dialog box, set spatial extent and data classifications, and specify the output folder; you can extract a single, specified LiDAR layer after clicking OK.

Step Details

1.Select a layer which is linked to the one displayed in TOC via the drop-down menu of Input LiDAR data. Or click the folder buttonand specify a layer in the local computer.

2.Enter positive number(s) via the option, Extract by spatial extent, to set the minimum/maximum value of X/Y/Z dimensions of the spatial extent you intend to extract. If you are not satisfied with the value you set and want to use the minimum/maximum value of X/Y/Z dimensions by default, click Reset.

3. You can select and extract multiple collected LiDAR data. To do so, click either All to select all collected LiDAR data, or Select classifications to select the data you intend to extract. Parenthetically, you can cancel the classifications you selected by clicking Clean select.

Once step 1, 2 and 3 are set, enter an output folder pathway in Output LiDAR data field, or click the folder icon to specify one in local computer.
