NDVI

Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is usually used to estimate the vegetation covering on the target area. It computes the ratio of the difference between near-infrared band and infrared band to the summation of the two. And uses the ratio to understand how the vegetation covers the area and perform advanced analyses.

Usage

Select a raster layer in the Layers, and click the NDVI button to generate a temporary raster file which shows vegetation by features.
