Add a New Dimension Layer

 

The first step of using dimension line function is to activate Dimension Tool. Please click View > Toolbars > Dimension Tool to turn on Dimension Toolbar and follow the steps below to add a new dimension layer:

 

1. Click Dimension on the toolbar and select New Dimension Layer in the drop-down menu.

2. Choose a database into which the new dimension layer will be saved, name the new dimension layer and specify a coordinate system for it. Click OK to finish the step.
