Cache Generator

Supergeo brings users the possibility to take their maps wherever they are by using the Cache Generator in SuperGIS Desktop. Cache Generator is a tool that helps users to flexibly create map caches with detailed information. Users can define map scales, extents, and even visible scales of each layer to design high quality maps. The map caches can be shared as rich base maps through SuperGIS Server or browsed in SuperGIS Desktop and mobile GIS solutions like SuperSurv and SuperPad, giving GIS users a high performance map browsing experience without any quality or detail losses.

Cache Generator quickly creates cached map in STP (SuperGIS Tile Package) format. With Cache Generator, you can create new caches, export existing caches, and merge caches. In this chapter we are going to explain each setting in detail.

Starts SuperGIS Desktop, add the layers that you want the cached map to include to SuperGIS Desktop. Right-click on blank part of toolbar to show the menu and click Cache Generator. Or click View →Toolbars to find and click Cache Generator to open its toolbar.
