Setting Map Unit

SuperGIS Desktop provides the map units, including millimeters, centimeters, meters, kilometers, miles, feet, yards, inches, etc. The settings of map unit influence the accuracy of measure results. Therefore, the settings of map unit should be based on the coordinate system of the layers you add. If the layer you add dose not have a defined coordinate system, you need to set the map unit. If the layer you add has a defined coordinate system and map unit, the unit of the Layers cannot be changed.

To set the map unit, firstly double-click "Layers" in "Data Content." Then, "Layers Properties" window appears.

Choose Map unit, and click "OK", and the setting of map unit is finished.
