Viewing Metadata

 

 

When you would like to view the metadata, please note that you need to choose the file you would like to view in the treeview in the left window of SuperGIS DataManager. Therefore, when you click metadata tab, the correct contents of the metadata of the file you need can be displayed.

 

   

1. Choose the raster or vector data you would like to view in the left part of SuperGIS DataManager window.

 

2. Click Metadata tab in the right part of the window.

 

3. In the “Type” drop-down menu of Metadata toolbar, you can view the FGDC standard metadata. Besides, the button is used to import metadata, and the button is used to export metadata. You can choose to import or export metadata in TXT or XML format.

 

   

 

 

4. In Metadata tab, you can view the FGDC standard metadata.
