Perform Slope Analysis

 

 

1.Point to “Surface Analysis” and then select “Slope” in the drop-down menu of 3D Analyst toolbar.

2.Select a layer or TIN data in the drop-down menu named “Input Surface.”

3.Choose a measurement unit of “Measurement.”

4.Enter value on the box, “Z Factor”, to switch elevation units. For example, if the unit of your data is in feet, and you want to switch it to meters, than the z factor will be 0.3048. The default value is 1; it means the no units are going to be switched.

5.Set “Cell Size” and “Output Raster” on the boxes of “Output.”

6.Click “OK” to perform Slope analysis.
