What is SuperGIS 3D Analyst?

SuperGIS 3D Analyst contains two parts, 3D Analyst and SuperGIS Globe. It provides users functions of 3D visualization, surface analysis and model building up.

3D Analyst provides users 3D visualization and tools for surface data analysis. Users can simulate from different view points to get surface changes, inquire the specific point on the surface, analyze visibility of the specific point, calculate surface area, length and volume as well as draw cross section charts. In addition, it can be applied for viewshed analysis and the surface model building. More, users can use SuperGIS Desktop with existing 2D layer data to build up 3D vector data through assigning Z-value or directly digitizing on surface data. At last, users overlap imagery data, 2D or 3D vector data and surface data together to simulate the real world situation.

New 3D Analyst Extension supports Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) function. Users can utilize TIN function to reduce quantity of elevation data to improve the efficiency of 3D analysis.
