SuperWebGIS 2.1
Why is it that after I have created an Ultra version webpage, the map window is still empty?
1.
Please make sure that you have correctly installed .Net Framework and IIS (Start> Settings> Control Panel> Add or
Remove Programs> Add or Remove Windows Components> check Internet Information Services (IIS) to install)
2.
Under DOS (Start> Run> and type “cmd”), enter the following path: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framwork
\v2.0.50727 and execute “aspnet_regiis –I” to manually activate .Net.
3.
If you have completed the two steps above and your map still failed to show, try to go to Start> Settings>Control
Panel> Add or Remove Programs (check Show Updates) and remove Windows XP security update KB939379.
License can also cause such problem. Please check. Please check that your software has been legally authorized.
Upon obtaining a set of valid license key, please run verification again using License Verifier and then restart your service.
IIS has been activated, but the webpage cannot show.
When this problem is encountered, there are two solutions:
1.
You might have installed another software that also uses Port 80, and the most common one is Skype. It is a
default setting of Skype to use Port 80, which would conflict with IIS settings. Therefore, please uncheck this
setting in Skype, restart your computer, and this problem should be solved.
2.
Go to Computer Management (mouse right click on My Computer> Manage), expand the index tree on the left
and right click on Default Web Site (Services and Applications> Internet Information Service> Web Sites> Default Web
Site) to view its Properties. Under the Web Site tab there is a TCP Port with default setting at 80. You can change this
to 81, to force IIS to use Port 81 instead. However, since the port is not default anymore, when you browse your web
site on local connection, you will need to define the port in the URL, such as: http://127.0.0.1:81/homepage.htm
Why doesn't the map content on my web site change when I have updated the map in Ultra version?
1.
Please go to the actual directory that you have generated for your web site using Ultra version and find a folder
named MapCache. Delete all files in this folder.
2.
Go to Tools> Internet Options and delete all “Temporary Internet Files”
3.
Launch SuperWebGIS Manager and appoint the map path again, remember to click Apply after doing so.
4.
Return to Ultra version layout and refresh the page.
Why does the message “Visual root has existed” appear when I try to create a web site using SuperWebGIS Manager?
1.
This is because the virtual directory name that you wish to assign to your new website already exists. Please
rename the virtual directory or go to IIS web manager to change the name of the exiting virtual directory.
SuperWebGIS map fails to display. When “SuperWebGIS Draftsman” is restarted in Services (Computer Management> Services and Applications> Services), a message that says “Service on the local computer started and stopped immediately” appears.
1.
This problem is caused by license authorization. Please check that your software has been legally authorized.
Upon obtaining a set of valid license key, please run verification again using License Verifier and then restart
your service.
