Yes. The map edited in SuperGIS Desktop is supported to import to SuperPad. You are allowed to store the edited map in *.slr format (SuperGeo Layer File) in SuperGIS Desktop, and then import the *.slr file with Import function in SuperPad. In addition to Import function, SuperPad also supports to export the map in *.slr format, and then you are able to continue to edit or modify the data in SuperGIS Desktop.
SuperPad 3 supports the vector formats, such as GEO, SHP, and DXF, and many common-used raster image formats, including SGR (SuperGeo Raster File), BMP, GIF, PNG, MrSID, ECW, LAN, Tiff, JPG and JPG2000.
SuperGeo does not publish the list of supported GPS receivers for SuperPad. However, SuperPad only supports National Marine and Electronics Association (NMEA) 0183. As a result, if your GPS receiver supports NMEA 0183, you can receive GPS streaming data within SuperPad 3.
If the GPS receiver can't receive the streaming data successfully after you turn on the GPS, please make sure the settings of the protocol and baud rate of the GPS receiver are correct. You can click on the GPS Options on the GPS toolbar to set these settings.
If the GPS cursor cannot display, you can check if the coordinate system of the map has been set. Please click on the Map Properties on the drop-down list of Map/Layer Toolbar, and then you can set the coordinate system of the map on the Spatial Reference tab.
SuperPad 3 has a new GPS status bar, a translucent toolbar that appears at the bottom of the map screen. When you activate the GPS, the GPS status bar will appear at the same time. GPS status bar shows the details about GPS, such as coordinates of current position, speed, date, time and altitude. Thus, you can get the coordinates through the GPS status bar.
SuperPad is the software that can run on mobile devices in much the same way as traditional desktop software. When using SuperPad, you can save data on the device's internal memory or removable storage. If a wireless connection is available, SuperPad can take advantage of built-in tools for accessing data from SuperGIS Server and SuperGIS Image Server.
