GIS Applications

New Features of SuperGIS Engine 3.1

SuperGIS Engine, the collection of COM components that integrate mapping and GIS technologies, is the core component product of SuperGIS series software for developers. SuperGIS Engine can be embedded to program languages in Windows environment and integrate with other systems to enhance the efficiency of system development. SuperGIS Engine 3.1 mainly enhances map display, supports more file formats, improves the accessibility of geodatdabases, etc. Over 100 GIS related components enable developers to create GIS applications for desktop platform to meet the needs.

Map Display and Editing

Support to set the code page of attributes when creating a new layer.
Support group layer; users can group multiple layers as a group layer.
Support various ways to classify raster layers, such as RGB color, stretched color, graduated color and also support to
specify the way to classify, for example, Equal Interval, Quantile, standard deviation, natural breaks, define interval,
manual, etc.
Support to edit the Z value of vector layer.
Raster Processing
Raster data can be displayed by classifying pixel values and RGB Color, etc.
Resampling methods support Nearest Neighbor, Bilinear Interpolation, Cubic Convolution, Majority, etc.
Support raster statistics file to speed up the performance of statistics calculation.
Support raster pyramid files to accelerate the performance of loading and displaying images.

Geodatabase Support
Support to read the layer from Geodatabase, including Access MDB, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL Server, Oracle Spatial.
Support to create Personal Geodatabase (mdb).
Support to create a new layer, edit feature and attributes with Geodatabase.
Support to save layers to Geodatabase.
Supported Data Formats
Supported vector layer formats include GEO, SHP, MIF, DXF, GML, DWG, DGN.
Supported raster layer formats include SGR, BMP, JPG, GIF, LAN, GIS, PNG, GeoTiff, ECW, MrSID, JPG2000.
Development Environment
Support to develop applications on Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/7.
Provide the development kit for both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms, and allow developers to build the GIS applications in
common development environments (e.g. Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 Visual Basic, VB.NET, Visual C#, Visual C++,
