What licensing options are offered for SuperGIS Server?
You can choose from the three editions of SuperGIS Server - Value, Standard, and Advanced.
Value - This edition gives you a full range of GIS server capabilities to integrate GIS data for delivering, support to edit data online on the client applications and serve GIS services to a variety of clients. It also provides users with a comprehensive GIS server for spatial data management. It focuses on organizing and managing geographic data.
Standard — This edition provides all features of the value edition plus 2D and 3D visualization, image processing functions, advanced spatial analysis and modeling capability and mobile GIS application developer tools. It not only gives you the capabilities for modeling and advanced analysis but also allows you to develop appropriate mobile GIS applications connecting to the services distributed from SuperGIS Server.
Advanced — This edition provides all features of the Standard edition, along with SuperGIS Server extensions. The Advanced edition includes five optional SuperGIS Server extensions, such as 3D, Spatial, Spatial Statistical, Network, and Biodiversity.

What are the differences between SuperGIS Server Value edition and SuperWebGIS?
SuperGIS Server Value edition provides all features of SuperWebGIS. In addition, it enables users to edit and update geo data stored in the geodatabase from the client-end applications, like SuperGIS Desktop, SuperPad and web applications. It also allows users to deliver the services integrated seamlessly from different servers and publish the data to Google earth for advanced applications.


What client-side applications does SuperGIS Server support?
SuperGIS Server 3 enables client-side users to use SuperGIS Desktop, SuperPad, and other common browsers, like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc to use the services published by SuperGIS Server.

In addition, in considering the users who already use ArcGIS, we also provide SuperGIS Server Client for ArcMap that enables users to apply ArcMap to read the services published by SuperGIS Server and manage the local host config files.


Can I use SuperGIS Server services with custom Web applications?
Yes. You are allowed to use SuperGIS Server services with custom Web applications. Besides, SuperGIS Server offers APIs for Web application development on various platforms.

Can I use SuperGIS Server services with SuperPad?
Yes. SuperPad is one of the client applications of SuperGIS Server. You can use the services published from SuperGIS Server, like feature service, map service, WMS service and WFS service, with SuperPad in the field.

Can I install SuperGIS Server 3 on a 64-bit operating system?
Yes, SuperGIS Server 3 can not only be installed in 32-bit environment but also 64-bit operating system, like Windows 2003, Windows 2008, and Windows Vista.

How to get SuperGIS Server license?

Navigate to start > Programs >Supergeo > License Verifier to open License Verifier. When License Verifier is open, please choose the product which needs to be licensed. Then, input the license key of the product. Before getting the license, you need to check whether the Internet connection is correct

What data formats can I access with SuperGIS Server?

SuperGIS Server 3 supports various vector formats, such as GEO, SHP, MIF, DXF, DWG, and DGN and numerous common raster formats, like SGR (SuperGeo Raster File), SID, ECW, LAN, JPG, BMP, PNG, and GeoTiff. Furthermore, SuperGIS Server 3 also supports to access the data from Microsoft Access, Oracle Spatial 10i/11g, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Spatial. Besides, SuperGIS Server 3 supports to publish multiple map services conforming to OGC standards, including KML, WFS, WMS, and WCS.

Does SuperGIS Server support open standards?
Yes. SuperGIS Server conforms to OGC standards, such as KML, WFS, WMS, and WCS. Therefore, SuperGIS Server allows organizations to incorporate GIS into any application on a variety of computing and mobile devices.
